「それは何ですか？」

をドイツ語で言うと、
Was das ist denn?
だそうだ（直訳すると「あれは何であるか？」）。発音を無理矢理カタカナで表記すると「ヴァス・ダス・イスト・デン」となる。何となく「バスガス爆発」を思わせる。

ダーウィンの武勇伝

『現代思想の起源』（Origins of Contemporary Thought = OCT）というクラスで、ダーウィン、ニーチェ、フロイト、ハイデッガーについて勉強するんだ、という話を友達にしたら、「頭がイッちゃってるってことしか共通項がないな」と苦笑いで言われてしまいました（笑）。

ニーチェが晩年イッちゃったのは有名ですが、実際勉強してみるとダーウィンもいろんな意味でかなりやばい人だったということがわかりました。
